About Advanced Career Education Center at Highland Springs

The ACE Center at Highland Springs has a student population of approximately 700 and is served by 52 faculty and staff, which includes 25 teachers. Students from all nine Henrico County high schools are provided technical opportunities with emphasis on core academics in a variety of programs.

Classes are organized into three-credit blocks, and students earn three credits per year for course completion. Students enrolled at the ACE Center at Highland Springs are preparing for employment and further education, including apprenticeships. The programs are offered to Henrico County students for one half of a day, either AM or PM. Depending on the specific tech center program and the job market, senior students are given the opportunity to work, during the second semester, in a job related to the classroom.
